Cobe Architects of Copenhagen created the winning design for the urban planning competition in 2016. Since then, this design has been the basis for the development of the Deutzer Hafen into a diverse and vibrant urban development project. Cobe has further developed the block perimeter development typical of the Deutz district into the so-called ‘Deutzer Block’. A perimeter development with protected courtyards, different building heights and façade projections, together with generous open spaces, creates an attractive setting for residents and employees.
